Center
Hayiya Dance Theatre opened on January 17, 2001. Originally located in downtown Macon on historic Cherry Street, Hayiya’s home for the last 9 years has been the heart of central Georgia – Midtown! We like to consider ourselves the epicenter for grassroots cultural arts in our community.
Designed to look and feel like home, Hayiya Dance Theatre envelopes our students and guests alike in a sense of comfort that inspires courage and strength.
In addition to a beautiful dance facility, The Center also features oversized windows providing an abundance of natural lighting, a family friendly foyer, reading room, student-faculty lounge and original art by local artists.
The Center has become a rehearsal home to numerous dancers and ensembles in Macon as well as a place of meeting for local arts organizations.
If you are interested in renting out the center for your next workshop or event, contact us or call.
